The longship in our name and imagery is no accident. Norwegian seafarers were known for a simple, reliable course — no unnecessary noise, no promises they couldn’t keep. That is the approach we bring to every project.
We don’t sell technology for its own sake. Every solution we build has one job: to take a concrete piece of routine off someone’s day.
It all begins with the decision to set sail. In 2024 a handful of engineers grew tired of watching companies drown in manual work — spreadsheets, duplicate requests, forgotten reminders. That is how Hortoborg was born: not another technology trend, but a simple course — find the routine and remove it, step by step, industry by industry.

A private clinic replaced paper medical-history forms with an online questionnaire. Patients fill it in at home, and the answers land straight in the clinic’s CRM.
By the time the patient walks in, the front desk and the doctor already have the file ready — nobody fills in forms in the waiting room.
