Privacy policy
How we handle the personal data you share with us through this website.
Last updated: 1 October 2026
Who is responsible
Isayev Azad FS (“Hortoborg”, “we”) is the controller for personal data processed through this website. You can reach us at hello@hortoborg.com.
What we collect
When you use the contact form, we collect the details you enter:
- your name and work email address;
- your company name, if you provide it;
- the content of your message.
Our web server also keeps short-lived technical logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser type) to keep the site secure and working.
Why we use it and on what legal basis
We use the details from the contact form only to reply to your request and, if you wish, to prepare a proposal. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). Technical logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other sites. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers and shares your IP address with them.
How long we keep it
Contact requests are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless we enter into a contract. Technical logs are deleted after a short period.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run this website and our email (for example hosting), under data processing agreements. If data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To use these rights, write to hello@hortoborg.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority — in Norway, Datatilsynet.
Changes
We may update this policy when our website or services change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
